'LOOK' chocolate - Parfait A La Mode

Honestly, Japanese sweets & confectioneries may be among the best in the world, but some of them sure have some really strange brand names! And this is no exception! This is part of the popular 'LOOK' chocolate brand from Fujiya; one of Japan's oldest confectionery manufacturers & nation-wide confectionery chain shop. Its first shop was established in 1910 in Yokohama. Although nowadays Fujiya may not be among Japan's leading confectionery manufacturers, but it is among the most experienced in the industry...or at least, they should be, and 'LOOK' chocolate is one of their most popular & recognized brands. This is the 'Parfait A La mode':

the pack contains 3 pieces each of 4 different parfait flavors; chocolate, strawberry, maccha (japanese green tea) & caramel banana parfait...there's a letter stamped on each piece of chocolate, if you assemble them in the correct order, each line of choc spells the brand name "LOOK".
Each piece contains a layer of fudge of their respective flavors on top of a layer of white cream and covered with milk choc

they do taste somewhat like melted parfaits...however, for me, the milk choc coating overpowered the flavors of the parfait fudges, the fudge layers failed to bring out a stronger flavor of each of the respective parfaits, and they all tasted similar to me, the flavors were a bit too mild for my liking. Instead of tasting strawberry parfait, or caramel banana, or maccha milk parfait, they all tasted more like chocolate parfait to me, because the choc coating was so overpowering everything else. Aside from the chocolate parfait flavor, the other 3 were too mild in flavor.
Overall, not bad...but certainly not among the best I've tried.

Although the 'Kit Kat' confection originates in England & is produced worldwide by Nestlé (and Hershey in the US only), most of the KK bars I review about are Japanese flavours from Nestlé Japan.
