Sara Lee - Mini original baked Cheesecake

Food and snacks from Japan may be one of my ultimate food loves (the other being desserts & sweets)...but there's no doubt that there are still plenty of great non-Japanese sweets & snacks out there which I have a soft spot for too. Some of my favourite non-Japanese sweets and snacks are the famous chocolate biscuit brand 'Tim Tam' by the Australian food company Arnott's, and the 'Cherry Ripe' chocolate bars from Cadbury. And most recently added to my favourite list of non-Japanese sweets & snacks are these fairly new release range of mini frozen baked cheesecake treats from Sara Lee! I bought this box of the mini original baked cheesecake while I went grocery shopping yesterday at Woolworths, these cost $3.15 per box:

each box contains 18 pieces of these delightful mini bite-size pieces of classic baked cheesecake which have been chilled in the freezer, these treats are intended to be eaten straight from the pack as soon as you take them out of the freezer. Cheesecake is one of my favourite desserts and I always thought they were truly at their best when they're cooled, so imagine how much better it is when it's been chilled in the freezer! And these mini baked cheesecake treats from Sara Lee are certainly that! Even with their slightly harder texture from being chilled in the freezer, these mini cheesecake pieces still retains a creamy texture that literally melts in your mouth! And the cold temperature of these cheesecake pieces blends pleasantly well with my palate. You'd soon find yourself devouring the whole box, and realize that just 1 box is not enough!
And with the relatively small pack and tiny bite-size of these cheesecake pieces, they make an ideal treat for when you want to indulge on something sweet, but don't want to overdo your sugar intake.

There are currently 4 different baked cheesecake types available in Sara Lee's Mini frozen cheesecake range; Original, Strawberry, Chocolate and Cookies & cream. So far, I have only seen the original and chocolate cheesecake types at my local Woolworths supermarket, I'm certainly eager to try all 4 types though.

These Sara Lee mini cheesecake treats are highly recommended, especially if you love cheesecake like mebut they're an ideal treat for all dessert lovers!

My rating (overall):

They look delish, I hope they sell these in the US.

a enthusiastic foodie from Australia!

I love food, especially desserts & sweets, junk food and Japanese cuisine! But I'm a foodie who loves all kinds of good food in general ^_^
I like to review & critique about various food, sweets, snacks & drinks I have tasted/tried based on my OWN personal opinion & preferences. So you may not agree with some of my opinions & ratings.

Please take note that I am not a serious food "critic", reviewing & critiquing foods is merely a hobby I like to do in my free time ^_^

Although the 'Kit Kat' confection originates in England & is produced worldwide by Nestlé (and Hershey in the US only), most of the KK bars I review about are Japanese flavours from Nestlé Japan.
