I have been quite intrigued by these 'Saku Saku Panda' cookies from Kabaya for quite some time, so when I saw them selling at Tokyomart during my last shopping spree there, I decided it's about time I tried these for myself.

the design of these panda face cookies are not only kawaii, but also quite unique, there's 3 layers in total of each cookie; a top layer of white chocolate for the panda face, under that a layer of milk choc for the panda's eyes, nose & ears, and finally underneath all that choc is a layer of cookie. Each panda face cookie has a different facial expression, these are certainly one of the cutest looking cookies I've ever seen

Bourbon - 'Every Burger' cookies

Finally, my first review for a snack that's produced by Bourbon; another well-known Japanese confectionery & snack manufacturer in Japan, but is still much less renown overall than its larger & more famous rivals Glico, Meiji, Morinaga & Lotte.

I have seen these 'Every Burger' cookies from Bourbon on NapaJapan's catalog for quite some years and have seen them being blogged at numerous other food review blogs. I have also seen a very old Japanese commercial for these 'Every Burger' snacks which appears to date back to the 80's, which prompts me to believe that these little "burger" snacks have been around for the last few decades. With such a long existence, these little "burger" cookies must have quite a popularity in Japan.

I myself have been intrigued by these Every Burger cookies for quite some time, so I felt it was high time I tried these myself, so I ordered a box on my last order with NapaJapan:

Happy New Year everyone!Hope you all had a lovely Xmas & New Year celebrations!
Sorry for not updating for so long, but because of the holiday season, it's not hard to believe that I've been distracted by all the holiday mania & celebrations.

Anyway, in order to kick this blog into the new year, I've chosen one of my favourite snack brands to review today; 'Copan' from Meiji for my first review for 2012! I've blogged about these lip-smackingly delectable rusk toast snacks numerous times in the past, and if you've been a regular reader, then you probably have read these reviews for this irresistible snack and know exactly what they are and just how much I'm head-over-heels in love with these tasties!
So without further ado, this time I'll review about the Chicken & Mustard flavor, which is still a relatively new flavor that was only released in very late 2011:

a enthusiastic foodie from Australia!

I love food, especially desserts & sweets, junk food and Japanese cuisine! But I'm a foodie who loves all kinds of good food in general ^_^
I like to review & critique about various food, sweets, snacks & drinks I have tasted/tried based on my OWN personal opinion & preferences. So you may not agree with some of my opinions & ratings.

Please take note that I am not a serious food "critic", reviewing & critiquing foods is merely a hobby I like to do in my free time ^_^

Although the 'Kit Kat' confection originates in England & is produced worldwide by Nestlé (and Hershey in the US only), most of the KK bars I review about are Japanese flavours from Nestlé Japan.
