Dinner @ Kura restaurant

There are a couple of popular Japanese restaurants in Sydney I love to go to regularly, and Kura Japanese restaurant is definitely one of them! As far as I know, Kura is a Japanese restaurant chain with numerous restaurants across Sydney (there might be some in other cities in Australia too).
I don't know the address of other Kura restaurants, but the one I always go to is located just opposite of Market City and right outside Chinatown, this tiny casual Japanese eatery is a gem, with great food and at reasonable prices and good friendly service.

Last week while on my weekly shopping trip to the city CBD with a couple of my close friends, we stopped by at Kura for dinner, it's a popular eatery with my friends too.

It was cloudy, raining heavily and windy today in Sydney, I initially planned on going to one of my weekly shopping trips to the city today...despite the depressing weather. But needless to say, I didn't spend much time wandering around the shops today. I left the house at exactly 12pm noon and it was only lightly drizzling outside at the time...but once I arrived at Central station, suddenly it rained cats and dogs! The continuous flow of rainwater was starting to overwhelm the roads, with big puddles of water building up around the areas with traffic lights...at one point I accidentally stepped right in the middle of a big puddle of water, my shoes and feet were all soaked as a result!
Many people nearby were clinging onto their umbrellas as they raced to the nearby buildings and complexes to take shelter from the heavy rain, or running to the train station to catch a train home. Upon witnessing the weather today, I finally decided to cut the trip short this time, even when I was armed with my umbrella, I didn't feel like going shopping in the rain. So I decided to head to one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the city for lunch.

Finally! My very first dining/restaurant entry! I had been putting it off for quite some time now...actually, almost 2 months now! Because the first dining experience I'm going to blog about happened about 6 weeks ago...I was planning on blogging about it then, but for some unknown reason I kept putting it off. But finally today I thought I should just get it over and done with.

So, about 6 weeks ago, a close friend of mine Jessica and I went on our weekly shopping trip to the city. About lunch time, we went to this really nice little Japanese restaurant/eatery where we sometimes like to go for lunch. I don't think either of us remember the name of the place, nor do we know the address for it...but it's located at the very corner beside the traffic lights just opposite the entrance of Market City, outside Chinatown in Central.
It's a very popular little eatery, every time we pass there in the late mornings, there's already people lining outside, business is always very busy there by noon.

Although the 'Kit Kat' confection originates in England & is produced worldwide by Nestlé (and Hershey in the US only), most of the KK bars I review about are Japanese flavours from Nestlé Japan.
